DESCRIPTION:Dennis Prager and Mark Joseph Q&A\nand \nWatch No Safe Spaces\nMonday\, March 9 \n6:30 PM Discussion with Dennis Prager & Mark Joseph   \n7:00 PM Screening of No Safe Spaces \nA growing number of Americans don’t believe you have the right to speak your mind if what you have to say might offend someone\, somewhere. They advocate for “safe spaces” in which people won’t be offended by ideas they may find troubling. But is that what America is about? \nIn their book NO SAFE SPACES\, comedian Adam Carolla\, radio host Dennis Prager\, and producer Mark Joseph\, expose the attack on free speech and free thought that is happening across America today. \nIn the accompanying movie NO SAFE SPACES\, comedian and podcast king Adam Carolla and radio talk show host Dennis Prager travel the country\, talking to experts and advocates on the left and right\, tour college campuses\, and examine their own upbringings to try to understand what is happening in America today and what free speech in this country should look (and sound) like. \nHear from authors Dennis Prager and Mark Joseph and watch the film at the Nixon Library:  \nGeneral Admission: $30 \nNixon Foundation Members: $26 \nTickets include a copy of the book\, No Safe Spaces signed by Dennis Prager and Mark Joseph. \nPurchase Tickets

SUMMARY:Arthur Brooks on "Love Your Enemies"
DESCRIPTION: Arthur Brooks on “Love Your Enemies”\nLecture and Book Signing\n\n\nThursday\, May 16 at 1:30PM\n\n\n\nPresident of the American Enterprise Institute\, Arthur Brooks\, will discuss his new book\, “Love Your Enemies: How Decent People Can Save America from the Culture of Contempt.” \nBrooks will comment on the divisive nature of politics that is tearing America a part. One in six Americans have stopped talking to close friends or family members over politics; angry activists agitate on college campuses; television commentators scream over one another; and internet trolls degrade national debate through inflammatory rhetoric and character assassinations. \nBrooks shows how treating others with contempt is not a formula for success. Based on cutting edge behavioral research\, ancient wisdom\, and a decade of experience leading one of America’s top policy think tanks\, Brooks offers a new way to lead not by attacking others\, but on bridging national divides and mending personal relationships. “Love Your Enemies” is not a push for moderation\, holding that disagreements are the secret to excellence. It offers a clear strategy for a new generation of leaders\, and is a rallying cry for people hoping for a new era of American progress. \nThis event is free to attend. Guests must register HERE
